The following nurse-midwifery education program is scheduled to be reviewed by the
Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME, formerly the Division of Accreditation), Board of Review in January 2009. Please send any written third party comments to ACME at ACNM; 8403 Colesville Road, Suite 1550; Silver Spring, MD 20910 by Friday, December 8, 2008. Your comments will be included with other program materials at the January 2009 meeting. In all instances, your comments must directly relate to the accreditation of the program and the ACME Criteria for Programmatic Accreditation, October 2003; Revised November 2006. Please cite the particular criterion of concern in your comments. The criteria can be found online in the gray box on the right side of this screen.

ACME Governing Board Vacancy Announcement:
The Accreditation Commission of Midwifery Education (ACME, formerly the Division of Accreditation) is seeking applicants for a position on the Governing Board. Qualifications include: CNM/CM with active or associate membership in ACNM; five years of midwifery practice or education experience, at least two of which are within the previous five years; familiarity with the accreditation process; and availability for meetings and conference calls. Preference will be given to candidates with earned doctorates and current or recent program director experience.
